I am getting an error after putting in my database information. It says it cannot connect. I am not sure what I can do. I am using my database login information and it has worked for other database installations. Can anyone help? Can I manually create the tables?

The database must exist before you run install.php also when answering the host name are you entering localhost which indicates that the database is on your host system or did you enter a value such as host.com pointing to the host where your database resides.
